done fighting it
I’M DONE.
I’m done fighting.
I’m on hold with the Dr.’s office and I’m going to request an emergency appointment for Jonathon to go in and get evaluated and put on some meds.
He’s kicked out of the before school program and there is no way for him to do anything but walk to school on his own in the mornings because they don’t open the gates until 7:30 and my brother’s first class starts at 7:26…
do the math.
so Jonathon has fucked up and I am just NOT fighting it anymore.
he can just go on pills and be a zombie and stare at the wall.
AT least he won’t be throwing people into them anymore.
appointment is tomorrow afternoon.
*hugs* He may not be a zombie-it may open a world of opportunities for him. My best friend is bi-polar and she just cannot function without her meds and she knows this and she’s not ashamed. She’s been on meds since we were young and it’s a lifesaver for her.

It sucks it had to get to this point, I know how much you fought against it, but just remember: He doesn’t necessarily have to be on medication forever. *major huggage!*

oh boo! sorry!!!!

yeah, you’ve tried lots of things. meds won’t be the end of the world. they’ll probably help him a ton!

if he gets on meds will they give him another chance?

I don’t think he’ll be a zombie.. I think if they find the rigth dose (and it may take a couple tries, don’t give up) it will really help things and NOT turn him into a zombie… I know I’m an adult, and it’s so different with a kid, but I have ADD, and when I’m on my meds my life is just filled with so much more joy and peace and I am anything BUT a zombie on them…. hang in there..

Well the upside to this is that if he gets a diagnosis, gets medicated, and starts behaving himself, he could get back into the free program because it’s unlawful to dismiss anyone because of a legitimate sickness.

PS just don’t let them put him on paxil
