Desire my suckers!!!!

I was hoping that children would come into my office today.

I BROUGHT SUCKERS DAMN IT! EAT THEM! WANT THEM! DESIRE MY SUCKERS!!!!!

but none have come.

and i leave in about an hour and 20 minutes… well ok, maybe 25 minutes… but i digress.

I’ll just take the suckers home for the neighborhoody children.

WHAT IF NO NEIGHBORHOODY CHILDREN COME TO MY HOUSE?!

oh i’d be sad. i’ve never really gotten to celebrate Halloween like this. Being a “home” an dnot feeling like the devil was going to swoop down and possess me if i thought that halloween was not an evil horrible day.

I mean… it’s not the HAPPIEST day of the year… but it sure is fun.

i’m still sorta brainwashed about it though.

my churchs youth group would show this “halloween is evil” video every year and it freaked me out. i do believe there IS a darker side ot it. there is a darker side to EVERYTHING. and almost every “holiday” is concocted to give some weird alternative to something else weird.

I interrupt my regularly scheduled entry to say something sad. the clerk in our W. LA office, Nancy, went to the hospital today for an emergency surgery. They opened her up and saw that she had inoperable throat cancer that had spread to some other organs. the prognosis isn’t good and she won’t be coming back to work.

I’m sad. she was SO nice and just so pleasant all the time. i really liked her. we used to talk on the phone and laugh. she’s older and had been sick for a little while, but *sigh*

it’s just so sad.

the clerks will now have to split our schedules up and work down there. I don’t mind to do it, that office isn’t as bad as the downtown office and so we’ll see.

but regardless, it’s just heartbreaking. I want to send her a card and flowers… our office might do that next week.

=(

and now back to the regularly scheduled entry, already in progress…

off to pee i go!

why in the world aren’t they hiring a replacement for her?

OK, I just need to talk about this Halloween is evil thing for a second. It’s not evil. Patriarchal guys some time back thought it would be great to a take a sacred holiday and turn it into something evil for their own religious purposes. Don’t get me started on this. Japanese food….I’m not exactly sure how it’s different.

I’m sorry about your co-worker…… But on a happier note, I have sucker desire! 😉 RYN – sure, I totally would allow you to borrow my boobage for a few days…… now if only I could find a way to detatch ’em, put ’em in a box and send ’em your way! (Warning label – jogging or running may be hazerdous to your health as the boobs tend to bounce in an attempt to throw you off balance)

Wow, cancer is SO scary and so many people I know have it! Freaky and sad. Halloween is great, don’t get all brain washed about it. I mean Halloween is less evil than Christmas in some ways. I mean Christmas should be about spending time with the people you love the most and instead it is some huge corporate plan to get you to spend all your money. Halloween is just straight fun. Being scared..

is exhilerating! It’s why we watch scary movies and tell scary stories. It’s not a pagan holiday or worshiping Satan or anything crazy like that. And yes, I suppose we spend a lot of money on it too…but not as much as Christmas and sometimes it is MORE fun to put things together out of things you already have. Oh well, to each their own. Candy is GOOD!! Hee!

I have never had kids knock at my door on Oct 31st to get candy, at least not since I moved away from my parents home..sad huh? Cancer is EVIL.
