Colors make me happy
Monday is supposed to signify a sort of "starting point" for things… so that is exactly what I’m going to try to do!
I am going to start recording what I eat again (I haven’t done it since my birthday)…
I am going to work out again, I simply MUST. I can’t NOT do it anymore!
I think I’ll try to go to the gym today… which will suck, but I have to try! My kids are usually hungry when I go pick them up (and really dirty… blah) but if they are clean then we might go and I’ll stop somewhere and get them a snack. Dinner is mostly cooked (left overs) so when we get home it shouldn’t be too bad. I want to try and at least do half an hour… it’s doable.
I simply have to.
I have about a month and a half to lose some weight (hopefully what I regained plus some) so that by the time the really hot weather hits (even though it’s been scorching!!!) I can at least look semi cute in less clothes and perhaps sport some kind of bathing suit…
or something.
UGH!!!!
So anyway, that’s the plan.
Lets do a brief rundown of my weekend. (Upon editing, I realize this isn’t brief and my bullet style sucks… oh well!)
*bang bang bullet style*
*We all know the drama at the courthouse. I actually got a good link from a fav (thanks Andrea!) that shows just how much work I have to put into finding that fool. I am going to try to do some of the things and we’ll see what happens next. Some of these things include:
*Trying to get records from the DMV
*Canvassing the neighborhood where he used to live (which I can’t really do cuz I have no idea where he used to live)
*Asking the police
I really have no idea how to do any of that, but I guess I have to try. I have to keep a record of it all and then that will be presented into evidence when I can finally get in front of a judge. The tricky thing is that the site also suggests hiring a private detective, and I just don’t have the money for it. I really REALLY hope that if I do some of these other things the judge will have mercy on me since I’m a single parent of two children and I really don’t make giant piles of money. So we’ll see. I’ll start on that this week.
*Friday I went to pick up my kids from school at 3:30 and didn’t get out of there until 4… I have no idea WHY it takes so long for the kids to get released ugh!
*The traffic was a mess. My check engine light was on. I was frazzled. My kids were insane.
*I get to my dads and try to calm down, but I was still sorta mad.
*We went to the dinner. This is something that is put on by the men of the church to honor the women… so when we got there they said that they had problems with the "stove" and that dinner would be late. But they set out the salad. It was a cute… good effort, good effort.
*The drinks were warm because they forgot to put ice into the coolers.
*They ran out of bread and I was very sad.
*Dinner finally came out and it was obvious that it was some Costco microwavable thing… chicken cordon bleu (I think that’s how it’s spelled) and I know I don’t like it. I thought I’d try it anyway…
*I got my chicken, some mashed potatoes and some green beans. I cut the chicken in the middle and a giant SPLOOSH of a bubbly milky liquid squirted out of the top. I almost barfed. It reminded me EXACTLY of what happens when you are dissecting a frog and you cut it open. It was SO GROSS.
I did not eat it.
So my dinner was mashed potatoes with giant herbs that kept getting stuck in my teeth and nasty mooshy green beans.
*Good effort guys, good effort, but no.
*My aunt and great aunt were there too, and they were fussing the entire time. it was mean… but sorta funny.
*Dessert was a somewhat dry cake that I did not enjoy. I was crushed and defeated.
*I took pictures of princess there!
*My sister and I recovered by writing weird drawings to each other. It helped me not kill myself when this pretentious snot of a woman got on stage and started talking about how to raise kids and be a mom. She was one of those "put together" types with the hair perfectly placed and the nails and that ‘OH DAHLING" type voices that acts like she likes everyone and everything and the world is a giant honking bowl of cherries with roses on top and I wanted to scream and boo.
*My dad was playing in the band and after their set of "jesus songs" they did an original song that he wrote. Unfortunately, they did it after the MC had dismissed everyone, so as they played the room emptied. It was sad and made me and my sister mad… so when the song was over we jumped up and screamed and hollered and yelled stuff like "That’s my dadday!" and "Will you marry my momma?!" and "Can I have your autograph on this blank check?!"
Yeah.
*My mother ended up buying me a cheeseburger from mcdonalds because I hadn’t really eaten and Iwas pouting. heh…
*We went home and talked till midnight.
*I went home on Saturday and got Baboo.
*I got the 40 dollar set of square plates *shame* and a new set of pots and some other odds and ends. I got some headphones, but they are very "trebley" and not very "bassy"… so I’m not sure how much I like them. But they work, fit in my earts well, and I should just get over it for now.
*I ran over a mans ankle in the aisle. I felt bad, but he should have moved! I kept sayign "exscuse me" and he just ignored me. He looked at me like I was crazy and I could have sworn he was following me after… But ugh. The aisle was EMPTY when I got to it and I turn around and tons of people are cramming itno it. I hate that crap… bah!
*We got home and I made the brownies (they turned out awesome!) and cooked dinner which was excellent!
*My brownie sundaies were so good too! I have pictures!
*After we sent the boys to bed, Baboo popped open some Fuzzy Navel… drink stuff. He got it for me cuz teh store we went to didn’t have champagne.
It was delicious!
We tried to watch Ghost in the Shell, but it was subtitlted and I kept falling asleep and it was a big bust. The second dvd didn’t work, so we just went to sleep.
*My stupid period stopped me from having mothers day sex! boo!
*Sunday was a lazy morning until Baboo had to leave and I ended up driving downtown to drop him off.
*I went home and lazed around a lot. I watched a bunch of stuff on my dvr and played P4… so fun!
*Baboo is coming over tonight, but he might have to let me play some, I died last night when I was on a roll and didn’t want to keep playing, so I sorta want to finish what I was doing (saving someone) so … yeah.
*This morning was weird. I woke up a lot last night and just felt blah. We left late and I barely made my train.
*And here I am.
*plans for today: Do work well. Go to the gym. Play P4. ha ha. I suck.
OH! I FORGOT! My dad made me a card for mothers day (it’s pretty funny, i’ll have to post it) and gave me $20 instead of $10 for gas. whee! Jacob made me a keychain (that is on my ring right now!) and Jon made me giant paper flowers and gave me a card that said he loves me so much it makes his heart beat fast. So cute.
They were bad all weekend, but what can I expect? It’s ok.
I feel like this entry is long. So I flee! I hope everyone had a great Mothers Day and/or weekend!
Now get to work!
lol…the poor church guys. at least they tried 😉

I have never had a church meal that was yummy. Meh, they tried and, after all , it was the thought that counts. Even though you did have a milky white substance shooting at you. (*giggle*)

In AZ you can get public information from our superior court, which includes charges & tickets and stuff. You can get the case #’s and dates and order the police reports which are public records also. I am not sure if the addresses of the defendants are blacked out, but I dont think they are… that might be an option for you. Cali might have something similar.
