Changes SUCK

Ok, so when I check my bookmarks I usually go to any Diarymaster entries first. There might be important information. what I just saw has my jaw hanging open.

I understand that in these times… it’s expected. But it’s also in these times that things like that are going to truly cripple the community. So many of us enjoy our Plus membership benefits because they a affordable and don’t hurt our budgets much… These changes just might hurt more budgets than before… decreasing the amount of people who can afford it and possibly making people leave the site or write less (those ads are freakin annoying! And the other perks suck when you lose them!).

It makes me sorta sad and upset… but what can we do?

The changes just SUCK.

I am personally considering getting a lifetime membership while it’s still $100. I really don’t HAVE the money for it, but it might be worth it. I don’t plan on stopping my diary writing any time soon, and at 30 bucks (or more, it could increase every year for all I know) a year I’ll be paying way more than that… just over a longer period of time. I suppose we’ll see what my money looks like when I get back from Vegas. Maybe I’ll win my money there!

Who knows.

All I know is that I’m discouraged by it all.

I didn’t even read the entire entry.

I just saw prices going up and wanted to cry and stomp! ( I do want to recognize that the DM did mention the same things I’m complaining about here, so at least he’s not a robot from planet mean… but still… BOO. Stupid changes! Stupid economy! Stupid costs of operation!!!)

So this is my little stomping session with some whining thrown in for good measure.

I’ll shut up now, I’m sure this will be mentioned ad nauseum (spelling? bah! who needs spell check!) so much people will get tired of hearing it.
