I get my kids back today! woooo!!! (I’ll regret that statement later.)

To explain for anyone who might not know, they have been staying with my dad and step mom during the weekdays because they have been "off track" from school.

*Aside: Year round just SUCKS, thank goodness their new school is traditional! Also, and please don’t think I’ma hater, I have always had a hard time communicating with their current school because it is very Spanish language biased and the office staff was hard to understand because of the language barrier. Well I called the new school earlier this week and spoke to a woman with very clear English and I am more excited to think of being able to communicate with them. I have had SO MANY times this year where the current school has called and I had NO IDEA what they were talking about until I actually got to the school and I could read their lips or a piece a paper… It’s been very frustrating. I hope this new school is better!

ANYWAY… They go back for their last 2 months of school starting tomorrow (I told you year round school sucks!) and then they will get Summer off and then start their new school in the fall. I’m not quite sure what I’m doing with them for summer, but I suppose I should start looking now. The new school enrolls on May 18, so I will probably go that Friday (i have it off) and do all that stuff… then I can also look into summer care because I’ll know their new start date. My step mother said she’d watch them for a month or whatever in Summer, but who knows if she’ll be getting a job, that would make things crazy… even though my dad is home all day too. He’s not much of a babysitter.

Anyhow… blah blah, did you fall asleep? I did!

Other than getting my kids today (and leaving work 3 hours early to do it! whee!) I may be getting a chance to see Baboo! He suggested that I come get him from his class tonight so if he’s still up for it, I will. I left my dumb phone at home today, so hopefully he wont’ call it this morning.

I had a weird morning. I woke up like 15 minutes before my alarms and couldn’t go back to sleep. I was having all these weird lucid dreams that were like… ok, so in one I was doing something and I knew it was a dream but I was also convinced it was real. I had to go to teh bathroom so I knew I had to wake up but I kept trying to stay in the dream because it was REAL…. but I knew it wasn’t.

whatever, very strange.

My brain is BWOKED!

So I played more Persona 4 last night. Loving it loving it loving it.

For those who care, the premise is that people are going inside of this teleivision world and then ending up dead (like strung up on telephone poles and stuff)… so people think it’s a serial killer, but the hero and his friends know different and are going into the tv to save the people. You find out who is in the tv by watching tv at midnight when it’s raining. So they go in and fight all these evil monsters and it has cool music and I’m really enjoying it! I hope Baboo won’t mind me playing for an hour or two tonight. ha ha!

I have a confession… I did not eat dinner last night.

I was just not hungry.

I still felt full after the delicious spicy chicken bowl. For those who want to drool with me, it’s a bowl with fluffy white rice, steamed carrots, cabbage and broccoli and then grilled chicken that is sauteed in this spicy red chili sauce and I think sesame oil… or soy… something, but it doesn’t have a really strong flavor… and then it’s all put in a bowl and it’s SO GOOD. mmm! You can see the red pepper seeds in it and it makes my mouth burn with awesomeness. Yesterday someone tried to talk to me while I was eating and I looked up with watery eyes and a runny nose and said "Omg, sogoodmfmfnomnomnom…."

and then they walked away… verrrrry sloooooowly….

heh…

Anyway, I totally forgot I was proof reading the articles for the muckety mucks and I need to get them back to my big boss today. I read through them but I went "easy" for fear of seeming too harsh on their work. But my boss told me to just make as many suggestions as I deemed necessary and so I have to tweak them a little bit more.

Oh whee!

Happy Wednesday peeps!

It sounds like the new school will be lots better. I hate leaving my phone at home. I keep waking up before my alarms too. I almost always wake up at 4:14 lately. I wonder why 4:14.

I was in year round school K-8th grade. It sucked but I like random breaks. Yeah I have heard of allergy shots. But you see I am in the military and they are lazy and don’t like to help people b/c that means spending money. They are referring me to a….. PEDIATRICIAN!! Yes, I am 23 years old. We’ll see what happens with that.

I really hope they don’t start that year round stuff here by the time J gets to that age. Spicy Chicken Bowl sounds sooooo goooooood. lol.

ryn: On my cell phone, of course! I have a blackjack w/internet access. I was being a rebel because there are signs saying no cell phones. But damn I got bored! I tried reading a magazine last time I was in there and it was all weird so I flipped it over and it was from 1991!!!

I have this sports nutrition book and the author says if you are going to skip any meal it should be dinner since we tend to go overboard with it anyway. She didnt recommend skipping but said if you do then thats the one to skip!

That’s crazy about the language barrier in school! That’d make me insane. I like the colors – it’s a very Wheeeeee! kinda entry! hehe : )

I had a dream I didn’t want to wake up from today. I woke up and called myself trying to go back to sleep and continue the dream

I understand about the language barrier. I am in Houston and it is a chore everytime I leave the house. Persona 4 sounds very interesting and like my kind of game. May have to check it out.
