 February already exasperates me.

I am tired and it’s Monday and blah blah blah.

Weekend? It went.

We did some things, like go to the library only to learn that in order to get a card we needed proof of residency. When did it get that serious? I guess it happened now since they charge a "non resident" fee for a library card, and I’m sure they want to be sure to collect it whenever they can.

Insanity!

I do have some cute pics. Jacob brought a book over to show Baboo and then Baboo read it to him! I was all teary and flutter and of course I had to take a picture of it!

So at least the trip wasn’t a total bust. I’m sure they will find all sorts of cute things to check out once we actually get Library cards!

We tried to find cheap ice cream at Rite Aid as a consolation prize. We had to go to two different ones. The first one was basically tapped out, with only hardened scraps in the "good" flavors and big bins of nastiness like "super butt chunk swirl" or whatever. Bleh.

We went to another one and it didn’t have a lot of stuff either, but at least there was strawberry and cookies and cream. I was able to get 3 cones and a pint for 6 bucks. That’s about 1 order at Coldstones (which was our next destination)

My head hurts and I want to go home.

Good things? I still have a job… or at least, I think I do.

It’s not even funny.

I didn’t have any e-mails about anything (just for work I’m gonna do in a quick lickety split here)… so I’m not sure what the means.

i’m glad to have work, and I’ll do it with a smile as long as I keep my position.

i guess that’s enough thinking about that unless I have to. (Yeah right)

So, lets see what else.

ummm, the workers finally came adn started up the renovations in my womb. A good restructuring is going on and it’s quite annoying and painful. Another reason I wish I was at home. I’m glad it’s here though.

It’s so funny, Baboo and I went to drop something off at his parents house and on the way home we talked about having a baby and how much it would cost. Later that night, we went to procure some champagne (cuz I was in a mood!) and I realized, we’ll have plenty of money for a baby if we stop drinking! And that’s exactly what’s going to happen as soon as I get pregnant. We both stop.

Therefore… that’s diapers for a month right there.

yes, we drink about as much as it costs to get diapers for a month.

TERRIBLE.

Anyway, Baboo thinks we should go with the lawyer that helped him in his recent legal troubles. I guess the guy does some family law? I dunno.

I need to remind him to call the guy so we can get a consultation to see how much it’ll cost. I’m praying it’s 2,000 or less. Pwease?

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to THAT being over.

baboo had some friends over to watch the Lakers vs Celtics game last night (Rene, who I know, and some new guy named Jager? Or something…) It was a very close game. But yay Lakers! You played like crap and pulled it out of your ass!

I did fall asleep on the first half though.

I guess I better get to work since this is boring and I have nothing else to say. I’ll think of something later.

I also want to do a movie review of Pandorum. I really dug that movie. I totally wanted to watch it a second time immediately! That’s a hallmark of a good flick. But I’ll dig

*update: the boss just came by and asked me to do something. She didn’t look distressed. I was scared when she came up to my desk thinking "she’s gonna aske me to come to her damn office and drop the damn BOMB ON MY HEAD!!!!"… but she didn’t.

I think your prayers, thoughts, and crossing of various limbs is working. I’m not out of the jungle yet, but I feel better since I haven’t been told anything yet.

I’d like to hope if something that terrible was happening to me, my boss would give me as much notice as she could.
