A serenade

Maybe something is sinking in.

Baboo has done some strange things today.

He called me this morning asking me to see how much it would cost for me to get the extra room (that the one chick moved out of) because he might want to move his stuff into it. I was already thinking about it so that my brother could have a room, but he thinks he needs his own room. hmmm.

Anyway, after that, about 5 hours later he called me and said he had some song lyrics stuck in his head just for me.

He proceeded to sing "I think I love you, so what am I so afraid of…" (and proceeded to forget the rest of them. ha ha)

It was cute and it was his way of trying ot express his feelings.

I could tell he was a little embarrassed but it was pretty huge of him to do that.

So yeah…

he’s something else, that’s for sure…

So I guess things are bouncing around in his head and I wasn’t just talking for the sake of making noise.

I guess it’s just taking a second to sink in.

We’ll see.

He’s at his parents house tonight and I’m not sure when I’ll see him next, but… I guess I just wanted to write this down.

So good to hear 🙂

And here I am, sitting at my hotel with nothing to do… :op

(you do realize that I mean all this in jest, right? I don’t want you thinking I’m some sort of crazy stalker)

I hope things are getting better between you two.

Sounds like he’s at least trying to open up a bit. Him wanting to actually move in to the same place as you HAS to be a good sign, right?

that’s awesome! 🙂 I’m glad it’s sinking in and he is trying. i hope it just gets better from here.

I don’t know…about him moving in. How much would you be responsible if he did? Would you be expected to feed him? Cart him around? Be careful! I do think it’s great, however, that he’s opening it. It’s about time! You deserve it!

LOL… that is so cute…

That’s so cute. I love when guys do cute little things like that. I’ve been married almost five years and occassionally my husband still does something sweet like that.

RYN: So far, so good. One more day here in LA, then I head home tonight. I’m going to be in Monterey Park (wherever that is) at the college for a show this evening, then backon the road. Anyway, let me know if you’d like to meet up and hang sometime. I’m always willing to take a road trip! 🙂

Awwww…tell Baboo the lyrics are think I love but what am I so afraid of, I’m afraid what I’m not sure of, a l;ove there is no cure of, I think I love you isn’t that what life is made of, though it worries me to say, I’ve never felt this way. So he’s been extremely cute in my eyes to sing Kaci to you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

That’s a step in the right direction. =)

He surely does have his moments. =) Everyone hits ruts in their relationship. Especially around and after the year mark. I once read a scientific case study that said once you reach the year/year-and-a-half mark is when the true ‘work’ comes with relationships. You’re out of the first stages of new love, and begin to truly see if things are real and worth it. Something like that. Does it make sense? I can’t remember how exactly it was worded, but I remember it making a lot of sense.
