4 Months Old – About my Baby

I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. My little munchkin is now 4 months old, and growing quicker than I can keep up with! For example, on Friday night, I gave him is evening bath, and washed the little fuzz on his head. I thought, “I can’t wait until he grows some more hair. It’s going to be so cute!”

Saturday morning, I wake up and look down at him… AND HE GREW A BUNCH OF HAIR!!! I’m not kidding. He grew so much that it had the nerve to look messed up and frazzled. I ran through the house showing off his new locks. Now mind you, it’s not down his back or anything, but it’s definately noticeable. It’s so cute, and it’s golden. When the sun hits it, his hair just shines. He’s still got a perfect little bald circle in the back, but it’s getting some hair sprouts here and there.

You know I had to comb it, so I got out a little baby oil gel and played with his little 3 cm’s worth of hair. AHHHHHH, he’s so adorable. Of course he screamed because he didn’t want me messin with his head, but I couldn’t help myself.

I had to go on a major shopping spree a couple of weeks ago. He’s outgrown most of his clothes and he definately needed some things for winter. It was great fun. I got him a bunch of little sweat suits, a couple of little outfits… and SHOES!!!! His first pair of little shoes, and they are so cute… of course, I had to get him two pairs, one white, one blue. He is so cute in them, I have to give him extra kisses!

I also got him the bouncy chair toy. It’s kinda like a walker, but it’s stationary and has a big area surrounding the seat with toys on it. His is a farm and it’s very cute. He was playing in it this weekend… I wanted to cry!!!! He actually picked up the little cow and tried to eat it… awwwwwwww.

He is learning how to roll over, slowly but surely… I think he just wants to skip all the preliminarys and start walking!!!! He’s started to talk a lot as well. Every morning this weekend I’ve been woken up by his coos. And he just talks and talks nonstop. When he gets upset, he yells at me and gets this little bratty face. He scrunches up his nose and glares. It’s so cute!

He loves my 14 year old brother. All he has to do is look at him and Jonathon is cracking up. I think he likes boys, and since boys don’t usually interact with him, just a little attention is enough to get him excited. It’s so cute, whenever Jonathon is getting fussy i just yell for my brother to come over and it makes him happy again! Hee hee.

He has a doctors appointment at the end of this month. I’m going to ask about feeding him a bit of cereal and fruit. He’s really into watching me eat, so I know he wants to do it too. I went to this tupperware party (tupperware is EEEEEEVIL and makes you spend all of your money) and I got him the cutest little bowl and spoon and cup set. And it was at a discount! But I also got him this cool bottle with a little insulated bag. It’s very cute and converts into a sippy cup, so I figured it was worth the stinking 15 bucks. I really wanted this titanium ice cream scooper, it was so cool and melted this ice cube in like 3 seconds! Wait, I’m talking about Jonathon… heh heh.

I’m going to be getting some Christmas photos taken, so I’m shopping around. I wanna get him a little suit with a bow tie… baby boys are always so cute in bow ties!!!! Hee hee.

Now I miss him. I can’t wait to get home. He’s starting to get excited when he sees me. The other day he smiled. It melted my heart. I love my son so much.
