10 items or less
OK, so for my own records, I want to do a brief rundown of the past 5 days.
I feel so out of it.
I’m going to try and experiment to rundown each day with 10 bullet points or less… and if I want to expand, I can do it later…
Tuesday, July 14, evening
*Had a long talk with Jon. There was more to it. Jake was not innocent and really instigated the whole thing.
*Jacob got in trouble too.
*I had to hold to my word and the beach trip was cancelled, as well as going to see Harry Potter.
*He was very upset and drama ensued, which made him lose his video game priveleges for a week as well
*After he calmed down, we talked some more and he seemed to understand even though he was quite upset
Wednesday, July 15th, Jons Birthday
*Jon woke up in good spirits and I made him eggs, his favorite
*We went to Wal Mart and I bought him a big pile of art supplies which he loved.
*I also bought all the Harry Potter movies and they have coupons to go see the film for 7.50 off! We’re gonna go next weekend.
*We got an oreo cookie cake and had Del Taco for lunch (per Jons request) (I got real pissed off at Ralphs, I’ll talk about that later…)
*We went to dinner at Islands (Jon’s choice)
*Came home and did cake
*I snuck the playstation next to him and he didn’t notice it for a while. He was SUPER excited when he did and ran and gave Baboo a hug (I told him it was from Baboo, because basically it was.. ha)
*He seemed ok with having a more calm birthday and the night was nice and easy
Thursday, July 16
*Went to Gamestop and got Jon 5 games. He was itching to play but wasn’t able to
*We went to see the free movie at Universal City Walk: Kung Fu Panda
*We got this pizza, that I loved. We sat in the few chairs they provided and had to wait 2 hours. ha ha
*Jon won a prize for doing Kung Fu Panda trivia… a $5 game card for the bowling alley arcade. We’ll go back another time.
*Stinky homeless man tormented us and Baboo tried to spray him with freshener… feminine freshener. ha ha!
*there was a VIP section that people kept sneaking into
*The free movie was NOT worth it, but the kids had fun. We probably wont’ go back again though. It’s almost worth it to pay!
*I sorta liked Kung Fu Panda…
Friday, July 17
*I don’t even know what I did. I think we sat around a lot and watched tv and played games and stuff…
*If I remember later, I’ll talk about it, I guess.
Saturday, July 18
*Dropped my brother off at my aunts in the afternoon. Traffic was a beast.
*I got lost trying to get home (trying to take an alternate route around the traffic) but made it home without driving more miles… oddly enough.
*Laid around at home till Baboo came back from an "exscursion" and went to Cheesecake Factory (baboo paid!) and then to see another free movie in Old Pasadena
*We got there late and there were no seats. It was the old Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory… we didn’t stay. My sons weren’t interested
*We went home and passed out
Sunday, July 19
*Laid around a lot.
*Did laundry
*Dropped Baboo off at the train sation so he could go do some personal things (like get a haircut) and went to Target and spent 40 bucks on god knows what…. STUFF
*Played video games and watched anime for most of the day.
*Packed up my kids and took them to my dads.
*My dad got a smallish 3 foot deep wading pool, it’s cute and looks so refreshing. I wanted to get in.
*We brought puppy and he got to meet horses! He was scared at first, but then got over it.
*Went home and got Baboo from his apt and went home and passed out… after snuggling and tormenting each other.
And now, a few things that were forgotten:
*My keys. I lost my keys AT LEAST 4 times this weekend. I am a mess. I even lost them at my dads house. *sigh*
*I did get some sex0rs. It was delicious.
*I gave puppy a bath, he was not amused.
I think that’s it.
I’m gonna go try to do work.
Oh, and I’m wittling down my favs list, but you don’t have to worry. Some people are on a "if you note me, I’ll note you back" basis now. I had so many people on my list that I’m sure don’t care if I read them or not and I sorta feel like I neglect those who do care for those that don’t. So unless I just really liked you anyway, even without a dialogue between us, you got CUT.
but you probably don’t care, cuz you don’t note me anyway. ha ha.
i so crazy.
off to work with me!

I need to start doing bullet points. 18 million things go on, and at the end of it all, I end up writing a lame-ass entry.
Warning Comment
Well.. it sounds like he had a nice birthday after all. May not have been all the fun at the beach, but it was something. He should be grateful. I’m glad to hear that Baboo has been trying to be supportive. That’s a good sign.
Warning Comment
Please remember all these discipline strategies and parenting things. When I have kids, I’m going to want to know these things, and you seem to do pretty well at it, so I’ll be asking!

Warning Comment
Well…I know I get to remain, cause I read you, and note you, like, all the time! 🙂 Lol. But yeah…I understand your point there, as well! Good reason to cut people! “Acknowledges the rest of your entry!”
Warning Comment
Sounds like a very busy weekend. Hopefully Jon (and Jake) will continue to be well-behaved so that you are less-stressed!! Seems like aside from the early drama/chaos with the boys being bad and having to punish Jon on his birthday, the weekend was pretty good. Oh, and glad you finally got some sexsex. 🙂 Oh, AND picturing Baboo trying to spray a smelly guy with feminine freshener made me laugh!
Warning Comment
Oh, and yeah. Bullet points, does, also make it easier as well! (I also tend to do it, whenever I don’t feel like getting all detailed, and into the nitty gritty of things!) Lol.

Busy busy…xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

you goofy nutcase!

I’m glad his birthday went well! Sounds like a relaxing week despite the crazy drama taking hold of your life right now. =)
Warning Comment
I know I’m left one because hell-I dream about you!
Warning Comment
busy week! i dont care if you dont note me, i hardly write anymore. i just love reading your entries. you so funneh!
Warning Comment
Busy busy. As a boy with a younger brother, I remember those whole “who got who in trouble” days… I hope they both learn from it and behave for you.
Warning Comment
I have secretly removed a shit-ton of people off of my bookmark list. I don’t care who reads me, but I don’t want to read everyone and their brother anymore. I really don’t have time… Glad to hear ol’ boy’s birthday was good, despite him being on punishment. I had to take away Halloween a few years back. You’d have thought I shot their dog or something…
Warning Comment
Is Kunf Fu Panda really any good, it sort of looked like it was trying too hard?! Anyways, glad the smack down worked out for you, sounds like you had a busy but cool weekend. Peace.

RYN: No, hon…the speakers are left over from the drive-in, where people would park their cars, grab the speaker and mount it on their window so they could listen to the movie. Although it does kinda sound cool to think that they’re making ‘happy cows’ by piping in music to them! Jon’s bday could have been a lot worse. I’m glad he seemed happy with what he got! How do you manage to lose your keys that much!?
Warning Comment
Good job Mama!

I’m so glad his birthday was nice anyway. Believe it or not, I was thinking about you last week. I was worried. I didn’t envy you with the situation you were in. It’s really tough being a parent sometimes. I think you did good and I’m glad it all worked out.
Warning Comment
Sounds like you did well, I’m glad he got a nice (but not too nice) birthday. Kung Fu Panda is good.
Warning Comment
reading you is a fun way to start and also end my day well most of the time anyway, until lately when that jerk is bothering you
Warning Comment
I need a nap after reading this.
