I have a home!

It’s official. I have a home lab! I will be joining the psych lab — and I have a project, and an office and and… I GET TO PLAY WITH A MICROSCOPE FOR THE NEXT… However many years it takes me to graduate. And I most likely won’t have to do any behavioral work which will make my mental stability much, much better. And I’ll be able to go to SfN in San Diego in October and present said project and most likely be first author on the paper. Today. was. fucking. awesome.

In other news: 16 more days until this semester is over and although I have a ton of work to finish, I couldn’t be happier. I’m going against my one rule when it comes to dating, and I don’t think I care right now. We’ll see where it goes. More details on that another time.

The pollen down here is ridiculous. Everything is yellow. I can’t wait until it rains tomorrow.
