So I went to my very first [college] football game over the weekend. It was actually a ton of fun and I’m really glad I got to go. Tailgating, of course, was fantastic. And we won, so of course that was fun too. Basically all I did this weekend was watch football, which is strange for me but it was mostly entertaining. Next weekend I head out to Clemson to watch the game with D. 2 games in 2 weeks? Hopefully my liver can keep up.
Life is relatively good right now, outside of school/work. I still have some data collection left for my current manuscript, not to mention the fact that I need to actually write/edit the stupid thing. Classes started again a few weeks ago and, as expected, are tortuous. Endocrinology isn’t that bad, so long as I don’t psych myself out over it (like I did for my test last week), but stats is going to kill me. It’s definitely like learning a new language and anything I learned in my undergrad stats is long gone out of my brain. I just printed out a practice test and looking at it makes me queasy. Basically, this class makes me question whether or not I want to be in research. Awesome.
I found this through someone’s facebook post (and subsequently reposted) and I feel like sharing: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sixtostart/zombies-run-a-running-game-and-audio-adventure-for my inner geek squeals with glee at the thought of this. I’m so happy it’s actually being funded and I get to play with it. Hopefully right around the time I plan on actually buying an iphone. Running from zombies? Talk about motivation.
I couldn’t get your link to work. I am a nerd too though and so is my hubs. So I’m sure he’d like playing with it.

the answer i liked is too long to post in a note, but it was a really long paragraph of word salad for a question that could be answered in about five words. really nice dude, though, and i was glad he dropped the class so he didn’t have to find out he got a zero on that quiz because he gave a negative number as the concentration of something.
