Where we are at the end of week 2

This week went pretty smoothly until yesterday (Friday). The kids did their schoolwork fairly well, although Noah is struggling with his science so I’m going to have to tweak his schedule so that I am home to help him understand it before I go to school.

I’m holding my own with the amount of work so far. I’ve wrote one paper and started on another, am almost done with my stats homework, and am studying for a stats quiz for weds.

Noah has to acolyte tomorrow morning, so I need to take him to help him robe, he doesn’t want to ask Doug to help him again. I’m wondering if I can take a textbook to read during the service.

I did buy my macbookpro, not the one I really wanted but at least I have one, and got the itouch for free. I am working on installing software on it and trying to import stuff to it so I can move the desktop off my desk and get the kids away from me.

I’m probably also getting the iphone, my contract is up with verizon and I’m not happy with their service, plus I can bundle my cell, home phone, internet and cable this way and maybe save a few $.  I’m such a mac geek that the iphone looks great to me, part of the switch is also i need a better cell phone and if i have to pay for one and have another 2 year contract then I’m getting the phone I want for a change and not someone else’s phone after they have upgraded….every phone I’ve ever had has been someone else’s, I’ve never bought a new cell phone in almost 10 years.

The husband say’s I’m spoiled and i laugh and tell him it is his fault, he lets me do pretty much whatever I want as long as the bills get paid on time and we have food to eat.

Speaking of the husband, I finally made an appointment for him to get new bifocals, he goes on Tuesday. He will finally be able to see something again and I’m so relieved. Jasmine and Kendra picked out his glasses for him, and they were on the free frame rack so we just pay the difference for his bifocals.

Ok, this is enough of an update, I’m tired and going to read one of my textbooks for a bit.
