The Semester is over!!!!!

 

So I survived the semester and am so excited!!! It had a few road bumps and disappointments but overall it was great! I learned a lot, raised my GPA and got all A’s while taking 15 credits, commuting 2 hours a day 5 days a week!!!! My GPA is a nice looking 3.873!!!  Not to shabby!!!!

The Ark made his confirmation this past Sunday!!! So that is over as well!!! and boy am I relieved that he made it through the horrible two years!!!! I am so proud of him for sticking it out, even though I knew he hated much of it.

I signed the kids up for swim team and swim lessons, Ace is going to Camp at the end of June and The Ark is going to New Orleans in July!!! So we have a really busy summer ahead of us.

I am trying to decide what schools to apply to for grad school and getting ready to study for the GRE……putting out feelers to do some research with a former professor. So things are moving along there. I only have 2 Latin classes and 8 upper level credits to take for graduation!!!! Because I can’t take summer classes though I won’t graduate until May 2013 but that works to my advantage.

We put up the new ceiling in the kitchen, still need to sand it, remud it and then paint the whole kitchen but it will look so nice when it is done. I also want to paint the living room to flow with the dining room and the hallway that we painted during spring break.

Ok, this is all I have time for right now, I must get Ace’ butt out of bed…..he is not motivated to do school and is getting on my nerves.
