Busy Week

I am so busy…..so much end of the semester work to do, I have done my Latin Coin Project for my Latin final, wrote an essay on International Non-Profit Organizations, most of a paper on female crime, I need to do the methods, discussion and conclusion yet! Done Latin homework, taken 2 quizzes, read a chapter on crime (still have 3 more to go) posted numerous discussion posts…… I’m tired of this semester!

I also emailed my advisor at John Carroll, made an appointment to see him, got more work to do….."It’s nice to meet you, look over the classes and plan your academic semesters for the next three years! Fill out this chart and get it back to me so I can register you!" Ok, then I hadn’t even gotten to a place of comfort about my decision and here I was trying to decide which class I was taking when! I got it done and sent it back to him yesterday. Got an email today saying that I was now registered for those 3 classes!!!!.

Was hoping to make it to the gym but am so swamped, maybe by saturday!!!! If I can get this paper done!  I really need to get back into my routine soon! I always feel so much better when exercising!

I also spoke to my friend Sherry and it does look like I will get to go to Guatemala with her to teach Homeopathy!!! I have already sent away for my passport, just waiting for it to get here. Tommy was able to switch his vacation to the two weeks I will be gone!!! So now I"m pumped to go!!! I really need to wean of my soda first though, so as soon as I am done with school no more coca-cola!!!! I need to be functional without it and it is keeping me from losing the weight I want to lose!!!! Next weekend Renee and I are going to GA to look at apartments for her, it will be just a quick 2 day trip but better than nothing and I will know how to get to her if I need to. Plus it gives us time alone together without kids or schoolwork to do!!!! the only sad thing about my going to Guatemala? Noah goes to camp on the sunday before I leave, he comes home the day I’m planning to fly to houston, tx!  I plan on leaving in the morning so……I won’t see my son from June 30 to late July 16th!!! Then he leaves for his mission trip to Brooklyn NY on the 21st!!!! For the month of july I will only see my 15 year old for 7 days!!!!

I still need to go to JC and make sure everything is on track for my financial aid. I did find out that orientation is not until Sept. 03, the first day of classes!!! I will be home for weeks with no studying unless I want to!!! I may review my stats and methods texts so that I won’t be lost, should probably take a glimpse at my Clinical Counseling text as well. I am taking Orientation to Counseling, Research methods and Counseling Theories!!! If I review my stuff I should be safe for the first semester at least.

I am still struggling with the thought that I am good enough to get into a grad program not to mention on of the best schools up here, I can’t wait until it sinks in as I’m sure it will the first week of classes!!!

Ok, I should go try to figure out how to write that methods section.
