RIP Grandma

I am in Concord, Ca (east Bay area) for my grandmother’s memorial. She was 94 when she passed a week ago today. What an amazing woman, a true matriarch. 

While this is sad, i am also happy to get out to see family. Plus, i really like the Bay area. I am going to take Sunday to head into San Francisco. It’s been a few years since i have been there on my own.

I will come back and tell some stories of my grandmother later on (she went to Berkley in the mid 50’s to get a graduate degree, a widow with 2 small children)
