Thank god for payday. I cut it way too close this past month and just got my phone back on. I also paid for next month so I don’t have to worry about it then. Of course, I’m in a hole again, but at least I have the basics covered. I need to buy boots today but I might just blow that off and go to bed. I went to bed early yesterday but woke up after a few hours because I was starving. That didn’t help me rest.
Since I’m stuck on my APOSTLE and PRINCESS project, I’ve been thinking about doing a short story. I got to thinking about an idea I had this summer I called ‘PrincessXBodyguard.’ Keep in mind, I came up with the name of this one first and am not obsessed with princesses. I saw a picture of a lady dressed up like a knight kissing a princess and it got me thinking about what that fairytale would be like. The idea morphed and changed, then simmered. I have a rough idea of how it’ll go, but I was thinking of making it a longer epic. Since I’ve returned to the idea, I think a short story might be better. Don’t ask me why the idea of a high-fantasy lesbian romance appeals to me, I don’t understand it myself. I’m not thinking about this as some kind of erotica, I find myself enjoying the thought of writing the romantic part of it. That, and I don’t read much fantasy anymore. I used to read so much of it back in high school and earlier, but it soured on it later in life. I just couldn’t get into the stories anymore because a lot of authors go "It’s magic, I ain’t gotta explain shit." Or, they fall into troupes and it feels like you’ve read the same story before. I wonder, is there much gay male romantic fantasy fiction out there? There should be.
For a bit of a rant, I’m really tired of nerds hating on gays and other non-normal sexual orientations. You’d think that nerds, some of the most hated groups of people in modern America, would be more accepting. I also find it funny just how many nerds are poly or kinky (or both). I feel like the pot is calling the kettle black in that case. I’m also worried by the amount of nerds that are becoming Conservatives. It’s not a good sign. First, the Republicans stole rock and roll, will they be stealing video games and D&D next? I really hope not.
Lastly, you have until this time tomorrow to ask me up to five questions about anything.
Until tomorrow, space cowboys.
I don’t know of any nerds that hate gay people. Except mormon nerds. In fact, those are the only ones I know who are conservative. Maybe you’re seeing more because technically inclined people are making big bucks now, and rich people are likeliest to lean to the right.

1. What kind of boots are you planning to buy? (pic?) 2. What’s your favorite candy? 3. If you could pick any job in the world and magically have the qualifications to do it, what job would it be? 4. Do you have a tv show you like so much that you own the dvd boxsets? 5. What band are you most likely to listen to when you’re angry?
