First day of the greatest celebration in THE WORLD

Well guys today was the inaugural day for the FIFA WORLD CUP being held in Germany. The opening celebration was somewhat lackluster in the performances, i was expecting maybe some fireworks or something or at least something a bit more…spectacular being the beginning of such an important event. Before the first game which was Germany vs Costa Rica there was a minute of silence in respects to the death of the father of Mexico’s Goalie Osvaldo Sanchez. You will be missed Mr. Osvaldo Sanchez Sr. The game was very very exciting, Germany dominated the whole match winning 4 goals to 2. The second game was that of Ecuador vs Poland which although was somewhat looked past because of the inaugural game it was a really fast paced and good football match.

All in all today was a good day, im glad the World Cup started already, every four years i anxiously await the beginning of such a wonderful event. Tomorrow i’ll see England vs. Paraguay (i’ll get to see Beckham, Owen, and hopefully Rooney play YES!!!) and Argentina vs Costa de Marfil ( i dont know how to say it in english he he sorry ) so tomorrow i’ll basically be stuck to the t.v. awaiting the greats of soccer play.
