Scaredy’s Replacement

On the evening of Thursday, February 26, 2009, I found Scaredy cold and still.  No matter what I did, he didn’t move so I knew he was dead despite still being active the previous night.  I had bought that hamster on September 5, 2007, so he only lived for about one and half years.  However, I don’t know how old he already was when I got him.

Unable to bear an empty cage, I bought a new male hamster the next day, February 27.  He is white with a little bit of very light beige or cream.  Now I’m thinking he may be an albino.  The new hamster still won’t let me touch him at times, and I’m also still getting acquainted with him.  I need to know him better before coming up with a name.
