Dumbest Thing Paid

What was the dumbest thing you ever paid money for?

There have been quite a few textbooks I regret buying. Not only were they very expensive, but we students never used them in class.  Even worse, when we tried to sell them back, we get say below half the original price, or they refused to buy them. Schools just love ripping students off.

Everything today is a rip off. It’s not inflation, but robbery. We are not getting better pay, but prices keep increasing rapidly. It’s a form of power abuse.

Paying for food that I didn’t like also upsets me, especially since I end up being unable to finish it. Restaurants and fast food places force everyone to buy too big portions, not caring about those who are unable to eat that much. Not only is that a rip off, but it is also a waste of food.

Product labels always make it sound as if our pets would love the food, treats, and supplies. However, quite a few of the contents on the labels have been false, because pets refused the products.

Many movies today are also not worth the ticket or rental money. I end up paying to be disappointed and tortured.

Other dumb things I’ve paid for include other school supplies, games, toys, and gifts people weren’t happy about. I can’t remember all the dumb things I’ve paid for, or judge which is the dumbest thing. All the things I bought that I didn’t need and like are equally dumb.
