Directing Evolution
If you could direct the evolution of mankind, how would you change people in the future?
I have always wanted to change Darwin’s law of natural selection to only the nicest will survive. This means, evil people, such as Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden, will die first. One of my quotes is, There is no such thing as gender, race, creed, abilities, physical traits, or social class, but there is such thing as personality. We need to plunge the surface: the interior is more important.
When Oscar winner Errol Morris stated, "…I fear we’re going down a rabbit hole once again…" he was talking about war. However, as I wrote in my entry on March 12, 2004, Going Down a Rabbit Hole, I think the world and society themselves are going down a rabbit hole (or personhole). Our society is just becoming more and more corrupt, and people support the bad more and more. Life is becoming more and more unfair. That is why I plan to write a few entries on these issues.
In the past, I have thought, "If life is not being fair to me, why should I even be a part of it?" and "I’m not going to have a chance to survive in this world. Why struggle to live if I’m going to be wiped out by natural selection?" If I could direct evolution, then I would head in the direction where these thoughts wouldn’t occur. The nicest instead of the fittest will survive.
This means as time passes, people’s personalities will improve, and there will be cooperation, not competition. We will make personality our priority instead of all those harmless traits, which are gender, race, creed, abilities, physical traits, or social class. Crimes and war will become extinct, endangered species will increase in population again, and dictators will be dead or demoted as well. Life will also regain its purpose and meaning.
I would also like to make it so that people can survive without eating and sleeping. This will allow more time to get more accomplished. Eating and sleeping will just be options instead of necessities, so they won’t become health issues.
We humans have really been going against nature mostly in negative ways. It would be nice to live in a peaceful world, where life is fair.
