Laptop and Hating Christmas

Paging through my last entry, those pictures made my baking look like a piece of cake. (No pun intended, because I didn’t bake any cake.) Honestly, it was insane. Seven straight hours of intense baking labor; definitely not easy.

Today, I woke up and I didn’t want to leave my bed. That’s not much different from any other day, but I was exhausted  to begin with.  Then I had to get myself up and ready for work. UGH.
Actually, all in all, today wasn’t too bad of a day. The kids were surprisingly well behaved and everything was so laid back because the bosses were out (and will be again tomorrow, WOO!).

After work, I headed to Walmart and had a mini-meltdown within myself.
I picked up my laptop which was on layaway, and upon doing so I realized I had more to pay than I realized. Take that and add it to the fact that my paycheck was significantly smaller than I would have liked.
I have to buy a gift for my dad and my mom yet, get gas, give my dad $30, and pay my cell phone bill. However, I just don’t have the money for it all.
What caused me to have the meltdown is the fact that I have such a small amount of money, and I have no idea what thoughtful, worthwhile gift I could get for each of my parents.

I’m seriously beginning to hate Christmas.

In happier news, though, I am on my new laptop. This this is gorgeous and super cute. The tealy-blue and dandelions seriously brighten up my day. This was definitely the highlight of my day.

I’m currently doing some laundry, I finished up my cookie gifts (except for the Fairy food, which the chocolate is hardening on overnight). Tomorrow after work, I am heading to my grandma’s to help her prepare for Christmas at her house on Saturday. It’ll be nice to spend some time with that side of the family.
Tomorrow, my mom, my sister, and I will be driving up in my car and my brother, Mindy, and the baby will drive up separately.

Ah, Christmas. Blah. I kinda hate it this year.
