Happiness.

I’m so amazed by how wonderfully everything is falling into place this time around. Johnny has been spending the night every other night, and we seem to have a pretty good system down in that regard. It’s nice knowing when I’ll be seeing him and when I’ll have time on my own. The money that I have had saved has been doing a pretty good job filling my needs this far. I even have June’s rent in the bank yet, which is good because the first is coming up rather quickly. To supplement my needs, I have been put on foodstamps, which has also been a huge lifesaver. I don’t get a lot monthly, but what I do get has been a huge help financially. Today, I was offered a job at the daycare. I had been pretty bummed for most of the day because I was expecting to hear from her and didn’t, but around 3pm she called and offered me a job. I won’t be working in a class of 3 year olds on my own, but I will be working with another girl in a classroom of 2 year olds. I actually like this better, that way I’ll have some grown up interaction throughout the day! I’m still amazed by how smoothly everything has gone. This job was the only one I had applied for, I had felt pretty sure all along, but it was a huge risk to take. I haven’t even been without a job for two weeks! It’s good to know everything will be okay financially. The only struggle I forsee is having an apartment in August, but I still have some time. Fingers crossed everything stays this wonderful! I really have never been happier.
