Multiverses

It occured to me 7 days ago, that there is no possibility of infinite other worlds unless they all operate on the exact same principals as the one wherein we reside. If every universe operated on its own set of rules, there would be at least one in the infinity of possiblities that would operate on the principal that there is no multiverse, no other universes, only one universe, i.e., that universe, which would then negate the existence and possibility of existence of all other universes.

I’ve played with different ways that this hypothetical universe (which I’ve dubbed Universe X…mostly because it just sounds cool) could exist without adversly effecting the existence of the rest of the multiverses. Basically, the only way I can see how is if Universe X comes at the end of a distinct, one by one, set of universes. Universe A collapases and leads to Universe B. B collapses and becomes C. And so on until Universe W collapses, forms X and Universe X then only negates the existence of a simulatenous universe or a universe to follow. Basically, an osciallting universe theory with a definite end or final "Big Crunch" that does not lead to re-expansion.

Having stated that, I think it gives way to a few ground rules about a multiversal theory. I’m dubbing them "Britt’s Laws" because I thought of them and I can. BWA-HA-HAHAHA!

1A) Either the Multiverse must be limited to a finite number of universes and/or possibilities to the exclusion of a Universe X, or,
1B) The Multiverse must follow the same or similar principals that our universe follows to allow an infinite number of universes that do not include the possibility that a Universe X would exist and negate the existence of the rest.
2) The Multiverse, excluding a Universe X, can then exist either as simultaneous possibilities or as a sucession of one universe to another, provided one of the previous qualifications are met.
3) No Multiverse can operate on any principal that would provide for the possibility of a Universe X that would negate the existence of the Multiverse itself.

If you actually managed to follow that train of thought, good for you, though you may be slightly insane. Mull it over a while and get back with me on any thoughts you may have.

Ryn: Actually, that’s a fraction of the cost that those shows charge. If I were a tattoo artist, and a good one at that, I would certainly charge $100 an hour to put my blood, sweat, and tears into my work, especially for a design that detailed and that large. He’s a big guy; it’s over a foot in length and probably close to a foot in width.

I think it’s an interesting theory. However… What if this IS Universe X?RYN- Umm…. She’s your WIFE… Shouldn’t she be happy if you want to have sex with her? *shakes head* I don’t understand her sometimes. But maybe I’m missing something.

I still argue, for the argument sake, that your “Britt’s Law” is incorrect! Is it not be possible that Universe X exists in it’s own dimension? Thus still existing without making all other Universes collapse. What if all these other Universes exist throughout and intertwining between different dimensions of space and time. Perhaps they don’t all connect in a physical sense, because there is the…

existence of the unseen and undetectable forces that are at work in our universe as we speak. Who’s to say that these things somehow have an existence that while contradict our existence still play some kind of effect on our universe?

In response to your note, yea I found that it was Heat and energy Calculations/conversions we were trying to figure out. Just didn’t get a chance to put it on here. Did you ever figure out your power level that would correspond with DBZ correctly? Later Dork! 😛 (btw I might make a post with an example of some of the heat/energy calculations I did in my AP Chemistry class)

RYN- If it is, your theory says eventually there will Universe Y… so then perhaps 2012 brings the dawn of a new Universe. (I can only hope… because I am really, truly SICK of this life.)
