dear calamity

sweet disaster

honored catastrophe

oh give us something to bring us together; nearer to one another
something to make us feel grateful for our wasted lives
something to strengthen our embrace
something to deepen our gaze behind the eyes
to bring us to a place where we can hold the value of one another in each present moment.
where we can hold onto each other in this moment

was there ever another moment
longer than a moment
where the tangibility of one’s own worth could be felt
could be touched, or even held
no longer a moment’s contrived sincerity or artificial passion at another’s movement
some kind of obligatory interest

only genuine interest
authentic warmth
unequivocal, veracious desire to be in contact with the other– to be with them
passionately, absolutely, invariably.  always deliberately.

every second spent so alive
on fire,

ablaze,

radiantly burning

for that other, that love, that light.

not one day of rain
not one
not one day’s stormy weather.

So incredibly poetic, too bad I only vaguely remember how to analyze it and have no motivation, so I will just go with the fact your life could be described by the poem, or it could be completely irrevelant to everything going on in your life. Either way I will just figure things out the old fashion way, by talking online to you and such. Now I am just burning the rest of the characters. Done!!
