So smart
Dear Diary,
I really am amazed how smart Noah is becoming and how quick he is to learn things. He has taken over my tablet and can get around to his games pretty well. I showed him how to get to them once and hes been doing it ever since. Even knows how to close out of the stupid ads that pop up. He loves monster doctor (you can pull its teeth and stuff lol), he loves a salon app where you can shave the people bald, and there is a baby one where you can dress them and take care of them. Hes always saying "mommy baby game!". He really is the light in my life.
Had all the kids this weekend. I hate how miserable I am when they are there. I hate feeling this way. No matter what I do I just cant change the way I feel anymore. I try to do nice things and be nice but one of them always shits on me. I ask her to be quite and that there is no reason to scream like that inside and Im trying to watch a movie I get "Im talking to Dad not you". I have to tell them to take a shower or do the dishes a million times before they move. I have to tell them 100 times to stop jumping on MY furniture 100 xs before they stop. By the 100th time Im screaming. Then they look at me like "sheesh whats your problem". I dont want to have to spend most of my day in my room because they don’t listen. I want to enjoy my weekends again without yelling or arguing or feeling like complete shit.
We have a wedding near NYC Friday. We are driving down with Dave’s mom and Joey. That should be interesting. Sharing a room too. I can’t complain because I don’t have to pay for it but..really it should be interesting. Its being held at a Yatch Club. I dont have anything to wear. The girl I work with is bringing me in some cocktail dresses and shoes to try on. I hope something fits. I already know I fit into her shoes because we are always trying them on lol.
I hope my check arrives soon. I want so badly to take Noah to the toy store to let him pick something out. I never get to do stuff like that for him. I saw a new train set I would like to see if he wants. He loves trains. He plays so well by himself. I love watching him.
I need to have more confidence in my running and push myself more. Its all about distance right now..not pace so I need to stop beating myself up if I need to stop and walk. I need to learn to just slow down, the slower my pace the longer I can run. I should be good with 10-11 minute miles. Thats still a good running pace for longer distances. My 5k pace is getting great. I work on my speed for it once a week during my shorter runs. Last week I came in at 27:44.. That’s 2 seconds slower than my PR during my 5k last year at Syracuse Festival of Races so I have a huge chance at breaking my record on October 6th!
Well I am keeping my end of the bargain here on writing more. It does feel better to get stuff out and written down.
Its almost time to go home. Noah Night at my grandparents (once a week we go there for "Prince Noah Night" and have dinner).

Forgive me if this is obvious, but have you and Dave sat down and had a talk about being a united front with his girls? If they speak to you rudely and he allows it, they are going to continue to do it and that’s giving them the power and control – definitely not right! They need to be shown and taught to understand that the “I’m talking to Dad, not you” comment will be squashed real fast by dear old dad. You are the “evil stepmom” (not really) and I remember how awful their mother is about you, so no doubt she’s filling them with her own toxic attitude, and that’s why it’s so important that Dave stick up for you and teach the girls that in YOUR house, they WILL show respect for you, period, end of discussion. Otherwise, it becomes a problem that is not just the girls, but Dave as well. Since he’s the biological parent, he needs to take control of his girls.
