Peace Love and Understanding

I would like a little of each of those right now.  Summer is almost here, and with it come many changes. 

My current countdowns:

3 Days until the kids are done for the year.

5 Days until I am done for the year. (Ya, right)

8 Days until I move into my new apartment.  Never mind that I don’t have a bed to sleep on. 

Emotions are mixed on all three.  Nerves are in high form and sleep thinks its much to good to come around here.  My parents are getting hysterical since I’m about to be out.  I have a lot to do in getting my stuff ready, but am instead stuck sitting in the living room pretending to interact and watching my mother try and deal with her last child moving out. 

As for my summer.  What summer?  I am moving into an apartment on the 10th.  I am also moving classrooms this summer (I get my dream job, and will be teaching Kindergarten next year– very excited about that).  That will completely consume June, and probably the first part of July.  In July I will be teaching at a summer camp for my mother from the 13-18 or something like that.  I have training from the 20-23 and then again from the 28-31.  In August I am going to Wyoming for a wedding, and then school starts.  Wow.  Summer?  Ya. Right.  I still haven’t scheduled in my ESL workshops for the summer.  The days I’m not in workshops I will be at the school getting ready. 

I am tired, I am loopy, I am.
