Road Trip(theme theme theme)

Oh how I love this week’s theme. I have always wanted to take a road trip and just go to wherever my heart desires. No planned route, just get in my car and go. Now I haven’t quite done that yet, I will before I die. Jess and I always wanted to go on a road trip after we graduated high school. A few obstacles have gotten in our way, mostly the baby and no money, but we will take a road trip.

One night we sorta took a mini road trip. We were bored and looking for something to do. Domenic told us to stay out of Scott Twp. He said drive through Scott, through Collier and just keep going, so we did. We got onto Noblestown road and just kept driving. When we got to an intersection we randomly chose which way to go.

This turned out to be a slight problem, since we were lost and had no clue how to get home. Plus it was the middle of the night and foggy. The roads got smaller and windier and less lighted. We drove around for hours and took pictures of every sign that said welcome to “such and such township, borough, city, county, etc” so that we could figure out where we had been later.

Things got scary when we realized that some guy was following us. No matter which way we turned so did he. It was creeping us out, so we turned off the main road onto some dirt road. Boy was that fun in my car that has almost no shocks. We were bouncing all over the place kicking up dust. But at least the guy didn’t follow us.

Somehow we ended up in Bridgeville, less than 3 miles from where we started. The trip only took us 3 hours, but at least we found something to do and had a great time. We plan on doing that again soon, but in a different part of town.

That night we discovered alot of places we never even heard of before. Hopefully before we die we can do that with the rest of the country. It would make for a very fun and interesting trip, and a great diary entry too.
