DSL is the greatest

Whoo hoo I finally got my DSL hooked up. I love it soooo much. I was so sick and tired of dial up. I can actually download stuff and it doesn’t take me 5 hours.

Anyways nothing much new is going on. I’m going to get 4 days of overtime though which is great. I’m working daylight shift at the XRoads down the rocks. My next paycheck should be sweet. I figure 4 days will give me at least an extra 250-300 dollars on my pay. I could really use the money. The card show is coming up at the end of the month, and I could use extra money for that. Plus I have been wanting to get a few odds and ends for my house, not to mention I want to get a printer for this beast of a computer.

I talked to Anna the other day. She said that she is coming to town for Grandma and grandad’s anniversary dinner and the family reunion this summer. I told her that I hoped she would be able to come stay over my house for the weekend so we could hang out and talk. I feel bad for her. She is so confused at 15 years old. Aunt Jean and Uncle Bill do not understand her at all. They aren’t open minded. I meant to ask Anna more about her new girlfriend but we didn’t have much time to talk. I’m just hoping that everything will work out okay for her.

On another note, I bought tons of film for my camera. Yippieeeeeee!!! I haven’t been able to take any photographs in a long time. I really want to pursue this hobby a little more. Now all I need is a subject. Not sure exactly what I’m looking for. There is a photography contest coming up soon and I want to enter a portfolio, but I definitely need to take some more photo’s. All I need is a brilliant idea.
