9/5/07

So I was awakened at the ungodly hour of 9am by Randi standing over my bed telling me to get my ass up.  Talk about a wake up call.  I was so happy to see her.  She has been here since Saturday and today was the first day that I have got to see her since I worked all weekend open to close.  So I got up, got dressed and we went to the Health Dept. to get her health insurance reinstated.  She is due to have the baby in less then 3 weeks.  I am so excited that she is back here and I can be there for her when the baby is born.  We went to her doctors and dropped off her medical records and made an appointment for Thursday. 

We went over to St. Leonard and went to visit our old coworkers at Fastop.  I really did not want to go there because I didn’t leave on good terms and I don’t care for some of the people there.  But Lisa was there so I talked to her for a couple of minutes.  Then we left there and went to surprise MooMoo.  And she was definitely surprised because she didn’t even know that Randi had moved back to town.  We stayed there for awhile and talked then we went over to Zeak’s tattoo shop that he just opened and surprised him.  The shop is pretty cool, still needs some work but the grand opening isn’t until Sept 15 so they have some time to get it together.  But it’s definitely gonna be awesome.  And I am definitely getting some more ink done. 

After we left the shop we went to Target so Randi could buy a stroller and a car seat.  She now has everything she needs for the baby, but she wants this one swing and I’m going to buy it for her she just doesn’t know it yet.  It’s 90 bucks but I think with the overtime that I have been working lately I can spend the money and get it. 

So today was an awesome day.  I got to spend time with my best friend whom I haven’t seen in 3 months and I have missed terribly.  I still can’t believe that she has moved back here.  After all the plans we made for me to move out there to Illinois and she just decides to come back here.  It’s all good though.  Now all we have to do is find us a place to rent that we can afford and life will be good.
