Today was just one of the frustrating days. First off I was tired as fuck since I didn’t fall to sleep until about 6am and I slept on my bedroom floor cause Michael was passed out in my bed. He came over last night. I tried so hard to just let him go but I am having a hard time of it. I just need to do it but we have been together for so long and it’s comfortable and I shouldn’t keep making excuses. I just need to tell him that we are completely over and we shouldn’t even try anymore. We both need to move on. Anywho I went to bed at 6am and at 10 something this morning I was awoken by my cell phone telling me I had a text from General. Dude I love him to death and he is a cool guy but I don’t like to get up before noon unless I have to go to work. So I couldn’t go back to sleep after that, so I went in the kitchen made me some waffles and texted General back and forth a million times. 
I talked to Randi for a bit while I was getting ready for work. Everything was going fine. She and Brenda are going to Brewski’s with us tomorrow to see Silky’s band play. This is going to be very weird for me tomorrow night. Me, Michael, Randi, Brenda, Mary, James and Filmore are all going. Let me explain why this is going to be weird. I am going to see Silky…whom I like…I am taking with me 2 of my ex boyfriends…James and Michael…Michael doesn’t like James…Randi doesn’t like James…Michael will try to convince me and Randi to have a threesome with him, which isn’t going to happen…and Randi is going to meet up with General tomorrow night cause he wants to hook up with her…but she is meeting her friend Drew there. Drew wants to hook up with Randi…LOL…talk about a soap opera.   This could be very interesting especially since there will be plenty of alcohol involved. 
Back to why I had a frustrating day. I had to work 3-10:30 tonight. Let’s just say it was busy as hell and we made bank. But we were very very short staffed to begin with and Ashley didn’t come to work. So not only did we do 4 times the normal Friday business but we were about 3 people short. I had one break and that was when I helped a customer take out $400 worth of Halloween decorations to his car and caught a quick smoke. I had gotten some dinner but didn’t have time to eat it and it got cold so it ended up in the garbage. I finally convinced Maria to give me a 15 minute lunch break when I am entitled to a 30 minute break as per company policy…but whatever. This was at 9:30. I didn’t go get food I went to smoke, call Randi, and go to Borders and talk to Silky since he was working. I’ve been telling him all week that I am not going tomorrow night even though I am going, cause I want him to be surprised and I don’t want him to think that I am stalking him lol. 
Anyways I came back from my lunch break about 10 minutes before closing and there were these 3 girls looking for costumes. The one girl couldn’t decide so she wasn’t going to get one. Maria decided to help her pick out a costume and convince her to buy one. She tried on every single costume and by 10:30 still hadn’t picked one out. We close at 10 and I was pissed because I was tired, sick, and wanted to go home. Plus Mary and James were waiting for me to give them a ride home because it was pouring down rain and they didn’t want to walk. I finally told her that I had to go. I understand that she wanted to make an extra sale, but fuck that. The girl tried on every costume and still couldn’t decide. I’m sorry but I just wanted to go home and if Maria wants to stay late that’s fucking fine with me, but she can do it by herself. We busted out asses off tonight and made $800 over sales goal so fuck it. She called me after I got home while she was on her way home and we talked and I apologized and she apologized and we were both frustrated. Tomorrow is going to be hell. We are expected to do over $10000 in sales. A normal Saturday would be between $3000-$4000 in sales. We are going to be short staffed again tomorrow and I might just end up killing someone. Thank God I am going out drinking after I get off work tomorrow cause I am gonna need it. 
Oh and I almost forgot. While I was outside at work I saw this guy walking into the mall who looked very familiar to me but I couldn’t place him. Then it hit me afterwards that it was this guy Jonathan whom I had met on myspace and we talk about hockey all the time. He’s a Caps fan but I won’t hold that against him. So I came back inside the mall and was trying to see if I could find him but I didn’t see him. So I was standing in front of Build-A-Bear talking to Raza and I saw him go into my store so I hurried up inside and said, “Hi how’s it going?” And he said, “You don’t know who I am do you?” And I said, “Yes I do, you’re Jonathan.” We continued to talk about a ton of things. I helped him pick out a costume for a party that he is going to with his wife tomorrow. I convinced him to get the Tricky Dick costume. LOL he is going as a giant penis. We talked about hockey and a bunch of other things. I told him that he and his wife should go out with all of us sometime and he said to let him know. It was nice to actually meet him. He is pretty cool even if he is a Caps fan.
So yeah my day was pretty okay I guess, other than the fact that I was sick, tired, and ready to kill people at work. But that’s what happens when you work in retail and I should be used to it by now. I am so not looking forward to the holiday season. But if I can make it through that without killing myself or a customer, then it will all be good.
