Birthday Bloke
I had every intention of writing about…something. But I sure as shiz don’t feel like it.
In fact, I kind of feel like crap. Physically, that is. Mentally, I’m peachy.
It’s kind of my birthday, at least for a few more hours, so you should show the Bran man some love. I look over at the age on the left side of the screen and it freaks me out a little bit. But, I’m just not that worried about it anymore. Another year goes by, I get a little bit older, and it’s just one of those things you can’t control so why should I worry about it?
I’ve actually had a really good birthday, probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Yesterday, Mom and I went shopping a little bit. I went ahead and bought that cell phone that I mentioned a few entries ago. So far it’s pretty much amazing. I’m a little concerned about the battery life as it’s already on two bars after being fully charged this morning. But then again I have been playing with it all day. Mom also upgraded her phone to a pink Razr. She just wanted it for the color. We then shopped around for some other stuff and then ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Hadn’t been there in so long so it was nice to go there again.
I spent the rest of the night playing with my phone and just chillin’.
And today Mom made a big breakfast and I opened up my Xbox 360. It was a tad anticlimactic because weeks earlier, I was with Mom when she made me pick it out. I couldn’t just ask her to get it because we both knew she would have come back with a lampshade or a toothbrush. She’s not very good with gadgets. So, to counteract having the mystery stolen from me I made her wrap it up.
So, there I sat in the living room floor with this heavy square present in front of me. Mom sat on the couch and watched. I tore open the red wrapping paper and exposed the box and shouted, “Wow, an Xbox!? What a surprise! Thanks, Mom!”
Then I hooked it up and played games for several hours until my eyes started to cross. The day before I went to Movie Gallery hoping they’d have a fun game to play but all the ones I wanted were already checked out. I’m really excited to play Left 4 Dead because, well, it’s zombies! Dead Space looks amazing as well. Unfortunately they weren’t there so I grabbed something else, Fallout 3. My Xbox also came with Kung Fu Panda and Lego Indiana Jones for free so after Fallout 3 started to become too much for me, I played them. Although they are kiddy games, they aren’t too bad. I’ll just have to buy Left 4 Dead. Probably do that tomorrow or Saturday. It’s going to be amazing!!
Mom also made fried macaroni and cheese (because regular macaroni and cheese wasn’t quite healthy enough) and peanut butter balls. Basically awesome. Unfortunately, I’m starting to feel the effects. And let’s not forget that Mexican dinner that I had the previous night. So, I’m definitely due for a…doo. It’ll be a good one.
I’m kind of tired…
This is a picture my sister sent to my e-mail today. Pretty awesome.
