The curse of superiority…

I had a slightly amusing conversation with a salesman in an electronics store today…he said something to the effect of the Jews being the most tolerant nation, in that we have never and would never condemn a nation for its’ religious beliefs which differ from ours much like other nations have done to us…whether I find this to be correct or not I had to defend the poor sods on the other end of the argument by stating that we, the Jews, are most tolerant for the simple reason that we don’t have to deal with ourselves as a seperate nation…if you had a group of people that were always winning, always on top no matter how much you tried to bring them down, defeat them, rise above them…then its obvious as to why they would bother you, get under your skin, cause you to hate them…so, alas…I have found our biggest, greatest and most self-defeating trait…we have been damned by the curse of superiority…
