Find The Magic
I wouldn’t expect you to be top hatted and caped
But you’ve got to find the magic somehow
Before the wrestless audience
Force you into taking a final bow
I wouldn’t expect you to be a Nobel winning scientist
But that doesn’t mean that you can’t find the spark
Otherwise we’ll be shrouded in complete darkness
And it wouldn’t be the nice kind of fumbling in the dark.
I wouldn’t expect you to be an Olympic athlete
But you’ve got to force the pace sometimes
Otherwise you’ll find yourself falling away from something
That you really don’t want to find yourself lagging behind
I don’t expect you to be a professor of medicine
But you should know by now how to melt my heart
And if I could only give you four brief instructions
Then this is what I would impart:
Find the magic
Find the spark
Force the pace
Melt my heart
This is like the opposite of That Don’t Impress Me Much by Shania Twain.

Hey hun, just stopped by to say hello. Your third set of lines really caught my attention. To say the least, I am in my last 5.5 weeks of my bachelor’s degree and well, yes, I am lagging behind. So off I go to write a quick entry then work on homework. Have a good night.
