I went to the Old Book Barn the other day. It has about a bazillion books. Almost all of them are used. I got a bunch of car magazines from the 1950s the 70s and 90s. One had the car of the year for 1977. It was the Impala and I have a friend, Joe, who bought a 1977 Impala new and still has it. So, I took the magazine to coffee with Joe and gave it to him. There was an article in the 90s magazine about the new Taurus wagon. My brother had one. So, I will send it to him.
I got a book for Kathy for Christmas. I really don’t know what to do for everyone for Christmas. Any suggestions?
I’ve seen some good movies this week, well some C+ ones. Paul Blart Mall Cop was OK. Right now I’m watching 50 First Dates. Just a remake of Groundhog day, and not nearly as good.
I’m telling people to give massage gift certificates. Too bad you don’t live around here! I’ve turned into the world’s WORST gift-giver. Everybody I know has reached the age where if you can’t eat it or use it up in some way, we don’t want it. Another do-dad to dust? No thanks! Maybe a movie CD if they like movies? I think that’s what I’m going to give my sister. My mom is giving me a tub of raw honey that she gets where she lives. I love it! I love the electric throw that Thorn gave me last year…nice and cozy when the house is cold.

Groundhog Day was perfect. No point in doing a remake.
