Another big day at home.

When I got home today I went right to work on painting the third coat on the garage. I got the East wall done it about two hours. Used a gallon of paint. One more side and the door to go and I’m done. I got the windows and the gaps in the siding caulked earlier in the week along with getting the doors put back in order to be hung after painting. The paint turned out pretty good, but could be better.

Then I got the spackling out to fix the holes in the living room wall and ceiling where I tore the fans out. It’s not going to be pretty, but it will be presentable.

Then I thought I was sitting down to surf, but my iPod program, Bugme, reminded me that I was going to fix the stuck bathroom door, which I did. Smooth as silk it closes now.

I worked less overtime the last three weeks than I have in many months. I may get even more done around here if that keeps up.

Can’t wait for Wednesday. That is +/- the day for me to become a Grandpa.
