where does the time go

gosh, i feel like im on a train moving at the speed of light anymore. everytime i turn around its like six months later.  i mean i waited sooooooo long for spring, and i feel like i still missed it somehow, go figure eh? 

we stayed real busy with the gkids this summer, went swimming, to parks, took them for a two night stay in a cabin down in the mamouth cave area.  i took the two girls and one of there friends overnight at the wildwood inn, and dew and the boys came and swam, had a pizza party, then left me and the girls.  they had a blast.  the girls are in to the boys now,  so that was kinda of hard to see.  the boys though, had more fun than the girls, i believe.  the girls are alot more self conscience, the boys, just dont give a hoot hehe. 

me and dew decided though, thats probably the last time we will take all of them like that again. took me and papaw three days to recoup.guess we just have to start admitting we arnt spring chickens anymore. 

i started canning this week, first time ever using a pressure canner, so its taking me longer, cause i can not make myself open it for at least three hours.   i ummmm, blew up our old pot belly stove once in ky, and i just cant make myself do it.  we ended up buying a side of beef, and now im doing the canning.  im soooooooo tired of eating all the crap thats now in the stores.  if i had a place with some ground i would be growing stuff everywhere.  i tried potatoes in the basement, but that didnt work.  i cant get over how much they charge for beans and corn either.  once i get some done, ill be able to tell how much im saving, if any.  im waiting to take my fourth canner full out now.  well im getting a turrible headache, but wanted to check in.  take care, see yas later, 🙂
