new years

i wrote this earlier but dont feel like editing it

to use deweys words, the gkids new years party was great.  imagine how shocked i was to hear those words come out of his mouth.  we was worried about having the baby here, but he was the easiest to watch, and dew watched him the most.  at one point i looked at him and said, i think you got off easy tonight, want to switch, hehe. 

we didnt get to do a smidge of the things we had planned, but another day there.  and the kids didnt want to go home.  by the time they left me and dew were beat.  in fact still are.  we made them each a gift bag full of noise makers, (big mistake) balloons, hats, glasses, necklaces, games etc etc.  i pulled out all my craft supplies that i had collected which kept them busy for hours.  we made the worlds best paper airplanes, paper glyders, some hovercraft thing using old cds, and a balloon, i had them make little booklets with there fav memories of 2007, they fingerpainted, and had glitter everywhere.  we made balloon faces with feet, and who knows what else. 

they ran around here like little banshees, and around 10 i couldnt stand it anymore and said it was now quiet time.  the girls cheered. hehe.  seth was the worst, he has the shrilest scream, down right grating.  the boys made a fort under the kitchen table which had our sheets over it, with all the craft things on top of that.  the sheet was way to long, but all we had.  thats where they slept and played alot.  well during the night, i went through to check on them, and seth had gotton tangled up in the sheet and had all the popcorn, glitter etc knocked on the floor.  what a mess the next day, hehe.  the girls and dewey helped ALOT keeping up with it, thank god. 

at midnight i let them use all the noise makers till the phone started ringing, and then they went right to bed.  the boys were out like a light, and snoring away, the girls stayed upstairs and watched tv till who knows when.  the baby fought sleep, but finally fell out about 20 after 12. 

i didnt sleep at all.  about five the baby woke up and i put him in bed with us, dew got up with the kids, and i got a few hours in, then got up and made them a huge breakfast with there fav things.  kayla said it was the best breakfast she ever had, and they were so quiet while eating it was funny.  since i couldnt sleep i stayed up and made each of them yarn dolls to give the next day.  the rest of the time is really just a blur right now.  the babies parents came about five to pick him up, stayed over an hour and took the rest of the gkids home. 

i didnt get any sleep last night either, got sick and was up all night, and down most of today, but thats easing now i hope.  after posting this im taking a bath and going to bed. kaleb took a long nap today, so im hoping he will go back to sleep when we are ready. 

kaleb is suppose to be going home tomorrow, he is missing his mommy really bad.  ill probably recoup for a day, if possible then get busy cleaning this place up and reorganizing the accumulating clutter from the holidays.  so all in all things went really well. we didnt get to many pics cause our hands were always busy, but i did get this video of the boys and papaw wrestling.
