double nickels

well, i turned 55 yesterday.  hubs took off and ran my routes for me and i stayed home and relaxed.  i caught up on some tv, did a few chores, made a nice dinner of roasted thyme chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, and lima beans.  i have enough for left overs today.

here is the list for the free food coupons that I got through my email for my birthday yesterday. a free milkshake from arbys, a free brownie sunday from chillis, a piece of choc cake from smokey bones, a free appetizer from joes crab shack, a free blizzard from dairy queen, 3 free 12 piece shrimp dinners from captain d’s, 2 free medium tots from sonic, 2 milk shakes from gold star chilli, a free desert from long horn, a $30.00 discount from benihanna, a free breakfast from ihop, 2 free tacos from jack in the box and a $5.00 off two dinners from red lobster. the trick will be seeing how much of it I can eat before they expire.  me and hubs went to ihop today and got my free breakfast, which was very nice.  most of them you have to make a purchase to get except for the 12 piece shrimp dinners and my free breakfast today.

i was going to go out hiking and picture taking today, but im just sooooo exhausted, so decided to stay home and take it easy again today.  i may go to the butterfly show tomorrow, but time will tell there.  i need to get out and do some exercise as im starting to gain weight again.i walked about ten miles this week.  five miles hiking monday, two miles walking at the zoo tuesday and the rest in general walking away doing normal daily stuff.

Happy Birthday! sounds like a yummy dinner you made! walking is a good thing, i was up to about 2-3 miles a day maybe five dayss a wekk, then i slacked way off 🙁 now starting over and doing from 1-3 miles every time i go, which isn’t as often as i’d like. yet. workin’ on it, takes diligence, especially when i don’t feel like it. i didn’t use half of the birthday coupons that came for mine this past march. i pretty much avoid most of the dessert stuff but for free/discounted real food, oh yeah, i’m there! 🙂
