NoJoMo #4

What a lazy day it has been!! I have lounged around in pajamas all day long- surfing pinterest and watching HARRY POTTER! 🙂 I’ve also been playing the ‘it’s this time, but really it should be this time’ game. I do it EVERY single year and generally it lasts at least two weeks after daylight savings time. I’m a little crazy, it seems.

Decided to take Monday and Tuesday as ‘personal’ days. I have been so busy with all of the baking and house cleaning that my house has become the pits of Hell. I am disgusted with it!! Laundry is piling up, floors need a good scrubbing, Harley needs a bath, Bunny needs her Condo cleaned (and her nails clipped… The list goes on!! It is appalling. I’d be embarrassed if anyone came in to my home. Ick!!

I cannot focus on this entry- I keep flipping back and forth between this, facebook, and other pages.

Tomorrow is the Taste of Homes events that I will NOT be attending. Super bummed over that!! Another cake maker is attending and she started baking TWO WEEKS ago for the event. Ick. Not a good way to market yourself- using old, frozen items. It is better to have fewer, better quality items but HEY, what do I know. Right? Right.  The event starts at 3pm tomorrow and she has made a two tier cake for the door prize…it was finished on Saturday. I’m thinking this even is going to hurt her more than help her, but who knows. Maybe I’m just being a bitter bitch. (No, I’m not. QUALITY over QUANTITY!! Right? RIGHT!!) I still wanna go, though. 🙁 So sad.

I need to start looking at sugar kraft items- ’tis the busy season for baking!! Soon I’ll have Thanksgiving and Christmas bake-a-thons and I want to offer up some original stuff. I’m also doing a BIG promo for Veteran’s Day. Work, work, work. I LOVE IT!!

I’m also working on a Walking Dead line of cake. This is going to be uber fun.

Okay- I need to surf the interwebz now.
