NoJoMo 24

It is 7:41pm but it feels so later!! It feels so strange to have complete darkness by, like, 6:00pm.

Husband and I went to the local lights in the park after cruising around a big part of the day. Holy Lame-o-Rama, Batman! I couldn’t believe how little effort was involved. At the end of the lamest light show ever, was a lady standing with a bucket asking for donations. I’m thinking they need all of the donations they can get considering how unexciting this display was. I was so disappointed! Sad thing is, there is a bodunk town about 45 minutes north of us that does a HUGE lights in the park. You can see it from the interstate and people wait in line for an hour plus just to drive through the park. They also do carriage rides and used to offer helicopter rides! I’m thinking we need to drive up there in the next few weeks so I can take some pictures! I had no inclination to take any this evening. Only thing I was capable of doing was making snide remarks to the hubby about how rotten the display was. Ha ha. I suck. :/

I am feeling sick yet again- the fever is coming back, I’m coughing more, the throat is sore, and my ears ache. I wish this crud would just go away. It has been…two weeks now? I don’t have insurance so have been dragging my feet in terms of even considering a visit at the doctors. I should probably do so, but keep hoping it will valamoose! Or something like that.

I have a few things I can write about, but I think I am going to sign out. I want to snuggle under some blankets, watch Walking Dead and do some  interwebz surfing. Here I come Pinterest!
