NoJoMo #19

Still have the crud. The evil, evil crud. 🙁 It had coughed me in to a migraine which made my stomach squishie so, when I coughed some more, I…well, who cares. I’m sick, damn it! Wheres my icy pops? Wheres my nearly naked waiter? WHERE ARE MY FROZEN GRAPES?!

Today I went and picked up the groceries for Thanksgiving dinner and Black Friday dinner. There is a story there but I’ll save it for when I’m not so ill. Or when my waiters appear and feed me frozen grapes. Then I can blink out the alphabet for them to interpret and then type up for me. Anywho, since they are not here, the short story. I didn’t kill anyone at the grocery store so YAY. That was good. I did, however, get very, very cranky. VERY cranky. I was feverish, and grumpy, and luckily unarmed. But, I survived…after drinking a LARGE McDonalds coke. Not good. But hey…what’s a girl without half nekked men helping her recoup to do? My point exactly.

I’ve been working. Hard. And making money! Today I made $250 and promptly spent it on stupid groceries and CHRISTMAS. Squee! CHRISTMAS! I bought an antiqued map for Martin off of Amazon, brand new, for…wait…wait…$0.03! YES! That was THREE CENTS! Granted shipping was $3.99 but I still say that is an UBER score. My big gift to Martin? Is I am re-doing his office. Yes, yes…those of you who follow me on facebook know we recently did his office. As in we painted it and got the furniture in. We did a car/motorcycle decor because it is what he THOUGHT he wanted. Needless to say, ME no likey and he no extreme likey. So, I’m going to surprise him with a MARINE CORPS/MAP themed office. See how awesome I am? Dark wood, cream walls, hints of Maroons and gold. I am going to take this map? And put it on a roll of cork board with mod podge? And then modge podge over it? And then custom frame it on my own? And then pin it…everywhere M has ever been. Please. I’m awesome. I’m also planning on refurbishing an old wing back chair or some kind of cool awesome chair. I would also love to find some kind of old liquor cabinet- low…like where it opens on top either via sliding or like a trunk? Yeah. I want to refurbish one of those. I want his office to be a gentleman’s room! Cigars! Cognac! Marine Corps OOrah stuff! Maps! Memories! AWESOMENESS!! Cha Cha Cha.

I also bought Martin a 25 pound bag of haribo cola gummy bottles. He is going to LOVE it!! I hope I don’t give him the "diabeetus." I’ll have to monitor his consumption very, very closely. Mmmhmm. Sure will.

I’m drawing a blank now. I’m going to go rest. Christmas shop. Same thing!
