the day the lord hath made
woke up thinking "this is the day the Lord hath made, rejoice and be Glad in it" actually I thought that on the way to work yesterday too. but I did wake up thinking it. and I am not one to spout off with religious sayings, (or think them). but it is better then waking up worrying about finances, or what might happen 6 months or a year from now. It goes back to basic cognitive therapy. what you think is what you get. think positive happy thought and you are happier. nothing wrong with saying this is one day in my life, enjoy it. let it roll.
today is team retreat. this time we have to car pool to a place the supervisor picked out and then get more instructions there. a lady who lives close to me is picking me up at 8. I have not expectations for the day. so will just recall my morning saying…
Shared a bottle of wine with my youngest last night, she had had a day with the 3 yr old. who was acting like a 2 year old 
. but the wine was good!

My mother was very sick all my life. She died at 55. She was determined, though. Every morning she recited that verse. I agree, I think the positive thinking brings positive results. It might not change the situation, but it sure helps you deal with it.
