relatives

been enjoying having my youngest daughter and grand daughter stay with me for past week. she will be here till mid month. I still have my fingers crossed on her moving back to Colorado this year. I’m sure it will happen!

meanwhile, we went to GJ and saw my dad who is eating good, and in good spirits. he is out doing yard work (he sits in a chair and pulls weeds… but he’s 101, so that’s amazing!)

saw my youngest grandson last Sunday, and yesterday while I was at work candy took him and her daughter to the local pool where my sons middle child (Cory) is the lifeguard. so we got in touch with him! he says he understands (his father continues to refuse to answer my phone calls, emails, text messages. etc …and I still don’t know what he is mad about…but I am sure his wife reminds him of whatever might trigger him… grr) anyhow, it was great being in touch with his sons, Cory says he has saved 100 people since June (in his lifeguard duties) and he loves helping folks. (you know, all grandmom -me- wants to know is that my kids and grand kids are doing what they enjoy ) so I’m happy

my best friend (from my college days) will be stopping by saturday for a quick visit.

so I’m having a lot of positive contacts with family and friends. nice

stay safe everyone!

It sounds like you and I are in the same boat with one of our sons. ~sigh~ Treasure your fahter, you are so lucky to still have him. My youngest son will be leaving for your fair state tomorrow. He’ll be working there for 3-4 weeks. Over 100 people – good heavens, he should be proud!
