positive review

I woke up this am to the sound of rain. Usually this is a nice sound. Ok. it still is. The recent flooding due to large amounts of rain, has but a new twist on the sound. The news says more than an inch will have fallen "in some spots" by 9am. but not flash flood predicted. also that it will be 150 million to fix roads that have been washed out or damaged. It was snowing in the high country last night. 2-3 inches. Amazing.

My work wanted a goal for the year, so I came up with writing something positive about each day. That was a week or so ago. Since then I have discovered it is hard to write each day. And when I write, I have to catch myself to keep it only on positive. I guess that is good for me. we- I- slide so easily into the negative at times.

So on the positive side, Sat there the next door neighbor had a block party– food and talk. Meeting the neighbors, only half showed up, was nice. Its better to be friendly when you live somewhere…

Sunday, the house got some cleaning done and Wendy and I talked more about what type of wood flooring to put in upstairs 3rd bedroom/office. I also got to play the on line game Wow with my grand daughter (who live sin Texas). It is nice to be able to do things with her and still live hundreds of miles away!

so those are positives !

I will try harder to notice the positives today…
