birthday

I woke up feeling every achy bone in my now 65 yr old body . But got on face book and found a long lost childhood friend had responded to my friend request–sweet!

my bones are aching cause I have not taken that "joint juice pill" for several weeks, and as soon as I have the time to stop at the grocery store I will most definitely get more! the rain here has not helped either.

I had wanted to just veg out today, but as the truck is still in shop (after 4 days), I need to run my daughter to work and pick her up at noon and take her to truck repair shop to get it. I also need to renew my drivers license today, can’t do it on line as if you are over 60 you have to come in… guess they want to see if you have turned into a gudmugin yet. but my eyesight is great, and I can still count to 10, its just the bones in my body that ache today. well the drivers test can’t be too tough, my dad passed it at age 100…

my daughters are buying me a kindle! course I insisted . my sister told me that last Christmas she was convinced (due to statements from her kids) that they were getting her one for Christmas. nope. got a necklace and candy. she said she was never so disappointed. so I took matters into my own hands and made it clear what I wanted for my 65th birthday . they are ordering it today what convinced me to get one was not the 3,000 some odd books it can store. but that it plays easy games, has a note pad, and the books are actually stored in Amazon wed site so if I lose or replace the kindle I still have the books. I am really looking forward to this! imagine carrying my whole library in my pocket! ah the modern world!
