Yep winter is here, Christmas decorations in store, and an empty bank account–even before buying presents! it will be "a hard candy Christmas" here. that line is from a country western song from about 30 years ago. another line from that song is "if we can make it though December" I am feeling the OUCH. the truck repair thing is frustrating. I did mention it didn’t I? how the oil change company messed up the wiring? and it is still not fixed as the part is a dealer only part (a small connection piece) and apparently cost 900 to a thousand dollars. Wendy and her male friend are trying to "Jerry rig" it to work, but it doesn’t last. so I’m looking at god knows what on repairs. and the care accident she had last month, no one hurt, but damaged front bumper and the fire truck fees… over 500. out of pocket–as I’m afraid to send the bill o the insurance as they will just increase my monthly fees. So I’m running out of money quickly here. Wendy is picking up extra shifts at work, but that seems a drop in bucket at this point. why doe bills always seem to pile up at this time of year?
any how, trying to refocus on something more positive.
my boss did offer me a chance to change my Friday chores. from intakes (which can be stressful, as you listen to all the new folks coming in, hearing their stories as why they need help) to doing 3 groups. I decided the groups would be kool as I have always liked groups, and its a change of scenery. it will be working with the folks next door, another change of scenery.
I also got to talk and play on line with my youngest, who had my grand child watching the game. so it was kinda of a visit. she is going to looking into getting voice, Vent, or in game voice. or skype. so we can talk voice to voice. it makes the long distance less. I also saw there are books for kids that grandma can record I’m thinking that is grand daughters gift! (she will be only one getting one this year)– may make some cookies though.
the weather holds me back on if I am driving to grand junction this thanksgiving. snow over the divide is a NO GO.
so am waiting on that.
RYN: You’re my second reader who suggested that I’m a Scorpio. Nope, Sagitarius the Archer. My younger daughter is a Scorpio – her birthday was yesterday, as a matter of fact. My birthday is well into December, too, so I’m not on the cusp. I’m not such a “fan” of astrology that I know the characteristics of the various signs, so I’m guessing that I show definite Scorpio signs??

RYN:I use quick and easy cut and paste programs for my collages, I have all the high end programs but it takes way too long to use them for what I want to do…smiles

You should be able to talk voice to voice on Yahoo Instant Messenger. I used to do that all the time. It’s a Law of Nature that bills, like leaves, pile up at the end of the year. Be well, my friend.

Sometimes things can seem so iffy! My daughter and I work at the same place and it does not allow us to make much of any plans for the holidays since both of us are security officers, Holidays are hard work time, it is an easy job but annoying with no benefits and demands weekends and holidays though we are well paid for those holiday work hours. I can’t wait until I can be done with jobs like this and never do any other kind of work but write. I hope money eases for you and plans see good fruitition. Hugs,
