Pictures Cause I Don’t Really Feel Like Writing*
Ok, so I’ll write a little bit. First of all, my hair is not completely up to my standards, but it was expected the first dye job. Thursday night I went and started the process. First she stripped my hair, which was a very pleasant experience, no damage and was pretty effortless. Then she dyed my hair, and for some reason, the red only showed up in certain places and turned the rest of my hair a cherry black. Not good. So she put the stripper in it again hoping to brighten the dark spots, and it just made my hair super splotchy and varying different colors of browns reds and blondes. Then she cut my hair. She got that right at least. Scott was pissed when I got home and did not have anything nice to say, so I won’t share. I went back early afternoon Friday and she bleached my hair, then applied a brighter red. She could have achieved the red I wanted with more bleach and allowing me to sit longer, but we both decided my hair didn’t need anymore chemicals. Thus achieving the following result.
I’m not sure my eye brows are the right color though, maybe too light? Next time my hair will get redder.
My tattoo got finished on Saturday. Three and a half hours of needle poking later and I have a beautiful piece of art on me to carry forever.

This spot hurts this most, and yes that is blood in the first picture.
Salem is home sick today. She is supposed to have her second dental appointment tomorrow but I am thinking I will need to reschedule since she is coughing. I have an optometrist appointment today, and Ian has an ultrasound on Thursday.
And here is more pictures to share. I really should be getting ready now.
Ian is starting to let us put hats on him.
We were supposed to have rain on this day, and when Salem came out of class to find that it wasn’t raining she was very sad. That is literally the face she had and I couldn’t get her to stop.
Salem’s creation. Not sure if Ian likes it or not.
Salem’s new Halloween shirt. I wish it was mine.
I had to document both kids in the grocery store wearing legitimate Fall weather clothing.
Ian is figuring out how to open doors. Yikes!
This is how I did Salem’s hair for picture day. I hope it looked like that in the pictures, because by the time I picked her up, her curls were gone!
I don’t really feel like there is any explanation needed. I simply love my family!
Ian loves pluto!
Salem’s first field trip day. They went to the fair.
And not that my hair is this color anymore, but I really liked my hair styled like this (first time I ever did it) and wondered what you all thought about it?
It was brought to my attention that this entry did not show up in bookmarks land when I posted it yesterday. And not to sound full of myself, but I wondered if that was the case because it is really so weird to not getting any notes on a picture entry right? Especially when you are looking at pictures of my kids.
RYN: Yeah just edit it and add an asterick to your title. It’ll show (bookmark yourself to be sure.) I have you bookmarked and this entry never showed. I like the red! I got my hair from brown to red on my own over the course of several years. I went from brown, to Choc cherry. I’d let it fade, dye it lighter, etc. After seven years it’s finally where I like it, and then my BF asks me todye it brown! WTF? Lol. I don’t like other people dying my hair.

FYI you showed up in my bookmarks 🙂

I LOVE the red! I did it that way once in high school and my FREAKED out (took me to a salon to have it stripped and bleached back to blonde which only further destroyed my hair). Love all the pics too, you’re family is so adorable! I can’t wait to give Eva a sibling someday =)

I like the final look….you’re a very pretty lady. Your kids are adorable, too. So cute, and I don’t think Ian was especially happy with the bubbles…. 😉 As for my entry, I had to copy and paste it three times before it finally went to bookmarks. I’m with you in hoping they get things straightened out around here! 🙁

You have such a beautiful family!! I like the red even if it isn’t the shade you were going for. It still looks really nice on you.
