Decision Made

Dental solutions have been made. We took Salem for a second opinion at a very nice dental office for kids. We liked how well they explained everything, and Salem liked that she got to pick out a movie to watch and was given special princess treatment. They also recommended way less work, and not doing it all at once. I took her back the next day for a cleaning, and she did really well so they aren’t recommending sedation. Tuesday she gets the first round of work done. I just can’t wait for it all to be behind us.

I decided on the red hair. Now I just need to decide how. I know I can do it myself, but I don’t know if it is worth the frustration and work to get it there, and I’m thinking it just might cost the same to have someone else do it after I spend all the money. So now it is just a matter of when. I really wanted to get it done this weekend, but we have a lot of money to spend, and I am not sure that I want to add to that just yet. We’ll see. The place I go is closed tomorrow so I’ll call Tuesday to see about an appointment and pricing.

I talked to my mom this morning about moving and made it official. It was astonishing how well she took it. And even now she is acting completely normal. I am thrilled about this. It will make things much easier. Officially November will be our last month here. I still have to tell my brother Zach, but he is in Las Vegas and will be back on Tuesday.

And we finally found a family for Chandler to move in with. They will be here tomorrow night to get him. It is bittersweet. I know we need to do this, but I know we will all miss him. I just watched Ian playing with him downstairs, and it just killed me. I know Ian will not remember, and one day there will be another dog, but it hurts me for the memories I have. They honestly seem like a great family and their three kids were very excited playing with him. They also have a female Husky and the two dogs played great together and it was so cute!

Anything else? Not for now. My emotions have been all over the place this weekend. I guess now the planning begins huh?

I have red hair. If you’re going from dark to red, I do not reccomend you doing it yourself. Make sure the stylist rinses the due with COLD water. It will prevent the red from fading.

I’m glad you took Salem for that 2nd opinion… 🙂 Sounds like this dentist is going to be a lot easier to work with, and we’ll be saying a prayer for tomorrow’s appt and starting her treatments. *HUG* Nice choice on the red…but I know you’d look great in either one you picked. Still liked the red better though….just sayin’ 😉
