I miss writing in here. I’m going to update more often, I decided.

I’ve been home about a week now – I was in Philadelphia for 15 days, and I’m heading back there in a few weeks. My grandmother is in assisted living (she has Alzheimer’s) and my aunt is alone if a 7,000 ft2 house, which she can’t afford on her own, so we are going to sell it. I’ve been working to clean it up, but it’s a big job. That house is an absolute pigsty, and I’m not exaggerating. I have never seen a house as filthy as that one. It’s a very, very nice house, it just hasn’t been cleaned or maintained in several years.

I saw this girl Brandy tonight. I met her once before, at Shattered a few months ago, but I ran into her again at Wal-Mart tonight with my brother. I have a huge crush on her, even though I really barely know her at all… she is skinny, and has dark hair, and her nose is pierced, and she’s very sweet and has an extremely pretty smile. Actually, she looks kind of like a cross between Kelly Hawk and Julie that works at the Humane Society. Brandy is also in a wheelchair, but that doesn’t bother me at all. Jeff said she goes to Shattered pretty often, and I do hope that I run into her again. I wanted to get her phone number tonight, but I decided not to. If I see her again, I will. Wish me luck 🙂
