Mikhale

This is a large painting that I worked on for "mom" quite some time back, probably at least 3 months now. It was a disaster of a painting for reasons beyond techniques that I couldn’t replicate and pressure that I couldn’t handle. I have since thrown away the painting. The hands were never completed along with much of the painting. It would’ve been one of the most beautiful pieces I created if I had finished it. Me and "mom" still aren’t talking these days. I’m trying to go back to a somewhat normal life these days…

The models name is Mikhale… I had her permission to use her as a model at sometime inbetween doing this painting, she decided she wanted nothing to do with me. She refuses to acknowledge my existance to this date. It saddens me a bit and I sometimes wonder if I did something to offend her. She was one of my favorite models and I used her as a model for one of my first portrait paintings.

That’s actually really beautiful… I love how sad her eyes are.
